One of the most difficult things for creative professionals is to find consistency in their lives and careers. What are some ways that we can develop positive routines that allow us to develop great projects?

In this episode of design life, Mike gives an update on his progress with writing his book that’ll be a guide for architects to learn about the life and career of the profession. Mike and Tim discuss the way his creative process has shifted from spending a lot of time on planning his projects to developing a rough plan and consistently working on the project. He shares how free this made him feel as he develops his book. Mike also talks about his experience with regularly sharing on Instagram.

Tim shares his latest experiences with sketching during his travels for a project he’s working on in NYC and how it’s been helping him develop his skyscraper design for Journey of an Architect. He talks about the difficulties of developing the complex model that arose through his sketches. Tim also shares his latest idea for creating a YouTube channel in the makerspace.
