During COVID-19 where everyone is staying at home to stop the spread of the virus, how do designers find a common place to meet up and decompress after long weeks working at home? What do some designers do with more time at home?

In this episode, Mike shares his latest experiences with a Facebook group he joined that’s comprised of architects talking about all things related to the profession. From careers and technology that impact the practice of architecture to recommendations for documentaries and videos to help us with our downtime, this group also hosts a happy hour for architects. Mike shares his experience attending his first virtual happy hour with a group of architects that he has never met before.

Tim shares his experiences recording his first YouTube video for his upcoming channel focusing on the process of designing and making products. He talks about how nervous he was to be in front of a camera and how he started feeling relaxed after several recordings. Mike asks Tim about his experiences with developing video content and Tim talks about his process for learning a video editing software.
